Before you can register a PAX terminal in Taliup HQ, the terminal must exist in PaxStore — this is where each device is created, activated, and assigned its TID (terminal ID). The TID is required when adding devices to Taliup HQ.

Before you start

  • Access to PaxStore with the correct Administrator Center and Reseller account (if applicable).
  • All terminals powered on and connected to the internet while you work in PaxStore.
  • The acquirer VAR sheet (terminal ID, merchant ID, host settings, etc.) for the BroadPOS payment app.

1. Create terminals in PaxStore

Log in to PaxStore

Log in to PaxStore with your administrator credentials.

Confirm your Administrator Center

Confirm you are in the correct Administrator Center (administrators only).

Confirm your Reseller account

If applicable, confirm you are in the correct Reseller account (administrators only).

Open Terminal Management

Navigate to Terminal Management.

Create and activate the Merchant

Create and Activate the Merchant in PaxStore if it does not already exist.

Create and activate terminals

Under the Merchant, create and Activate the terminals for the device type:

Note the TID for each terminal

After activating each terminal, note its TID. You will enter these TIDs in Taliup HQ when registering devices.

Confirm marketplace subscriptions

Before pushing apps, confirm the Reseller or Merchant is subscribed to the required apps in the PaxStore marketplace.

2. PAX Elys — push apps

The PAX Elys requires apps on both the L1400 (cashier terminal) and the A3700 (customer display).

L1400 — Taliup Elys

Open the L1400 terminal

In Terminal Management, open the L1400 terminal.

Go to Push Task

Click the Push Task tab.

Push Taliup Elys

Click + PUSH APP, search for and select Taliup Elys, then click OK and Activate.

A3700 — three apps, in order

Install apps on the A3700 in this exact order. BroadPOS Manager must be installed before the acquirer payment app. Install Taliup Companion last. Installing out of order can cause the card prompt to fail.

Push BroadPOS Manager

Terminal Management → open the A3700Push Task+ PUSH APP → search BroadPOS ManagerOKActivate.

Push the acquirer BroadPOS app

Push Task+ PUSH APP → select the BroadPOS app for your acquirer (for example, BroadPOS-Elavon or BroadPOS-Nuvei) → enter the Parameters from the VAR sheet → OKActivate.

Push Taliup Companion

Push Task+ PUSH APP → search Taliup CompanionOKActivate.

Confirm all push tasks succeed

Wait for all Push Tasks to show Success before continuing.

3. PAX A920 Pro — push apps

Install apps on the A920 Pro in this exact order. BroadPOS Manager must be installed before the acquirer payment app. Install Taliup POS last.

Push BroadPOS Manager

Terminal Management → open the A920 ProPush Task+ PUSH APP → search BroadPOS ManagerOKActivate.

Push the acquirer BroadPOS app

Push Task+ PUSH APP → select the BroadPOS app for your acquirer → enter Parameters from the VAR sheet → OKActivate.

Push Taliup POS

Push Task+ PUSH APP → search Taliup POSOKActivate.

Confirm all push tasks succeed

Wait for all Push Tasks to show Success before continuing.

Register each terminal as a Device in Taliup HQ using the TIDs from PaxStore. Device registration is required before the first Taliup POS login on the terminal. Add PAX devices in Taliup HQ →
