# Start using WEB-SRM on an existing merchant

> Turn WEB-SRM on for a merchant already using Taliup POS: enable it in HQ, confirm the app version, then log out and enrol each device.

Use this page when a merchant is **already taking sales** on Taliup POS and now needs Revenu Québec WEB-SRM. Work through the four steps in order. Keep the merchant off **Register** until enrolment is done on that device.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Enable WEB-SRM in Taliup HQ">
    Complete [WEB-SRM settings](/taliup-hq/onboarding/web-srm): turn on **Enable Web-SRM**, enter the Revenu Québec credentials, and save.

    Do this before the merchant logs back in on the device.

    <Note>
      The first time you enable WEB-SRM, Taliup HQ replaces catalog taxes with Québec **GST** and **QST**. Confirm the catalog is ready before you save.
    </Note>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm the Taliup POS version">
    The device needs a WEB-SRM-capable Taliup POS build. Check the version on the device:

    | Device                     | Minimum version                  |
    | -------------------------- | -------------------------------- |
    | **Poynt C / Newland N950** | **2.0.14** (version code **57**) |
    | **PAX A920 Pro**           | **2.0.8** (version code **26**)  |

    * **At or above the minimum** — skip the update. Go to step 3.
    * **Below the minimum** — update the app using the matching tab below, then go to step 3.
