# Reprint a receipt

> Reprint merchant or customer receipt copies from Transaction Details.

Reprint receipts from **Transaction Details** when a copy is needed again.

## Reprint from details

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the payment">
    Go to Home → **Transactions** and open **Transaction Details**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open print options">
    Tap the print icon in the app bar.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose a copy">
    Select **Print Merchant Copy** or **Print Customer Copy**. Payout receipts may show **Print Receipt** only.
  </Step>

## Automatic reprints

Some successful follow-up actions (void, return, post-auth, tip adjust) automatically print a merchant copy before you leave Transaction Details.

## Troubleshooting

| Situation                   | What to check                                                                           |
| --------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Print fails / connect toast | Printer connection in [Printers](/taliup-pos/settings/printers)                         |
| Wrong printer               | Confirm **Use built-in printer as receipt printer** vs the selected **Receipt Printer** |
| Wrong copy                  | Choose merchant vs customer from the print menu again                                   |
