# Analytics

> View total sales, itemized sales, and employee sales charts in Taliup POS.

**Analytics** shows sales performance charts for this merchant.

## How to get here

From Home, tap **Analytics**.

### Access requirements

Two checks apply:

1. **Role permission** — needs view-analytics. Denied: **Permission denied** — *You do not have permission to access Analytics.*
2. **Feature entitlement** — Reports / analytics feature must be enabled on the account. Otherwise you see a feature access message pointing you to Taliup HQ / Marketplace.

## Charts

| Chart              | Type | Controls                                     |

| **Total Sales**    | Line | Range toggle **Week** / **Month** / **Year** |
| **Itemized Sales** | Pie  | Top items by sales                           |
| **Employee Sales** | Bar  | Employees on the X-axis                      |

Week axis labels use weekdays (**Mon**–**Sun**). Year uses months (**Jan**–**Dec**).

There is no custom date-range picker or location filter on this screen.

## Troubleshooting

| Situation                | What to check                                        |
| ------------------------ | ---------------------------------------------------- |
| Permission denied        | Update the staff role in Taliup HQ                   |
| Feature access message   | Enable Reports/analytics for the merchant plan       |
| **Something went wrong** | Retry; check network; contact support if it persists |
